Holderness Area Rural Transport is the project name of North Holderness Community Transport. Five rural villages came together in 2003 to tackle transport need in Holderness. With a grant from the Countryside Agency the first vehicle was purchased to operate transport to health care facilities.
Today the charity has 9Β vehicles covering the East Riding of Yorkshire coast from Bempton to Spurn including the market towns of Driffield, Hedon, Withernsea and Hornsea.
The charity exists due to the tremendous effort of volunteers including the board of trustees, minibus and car drives, and office work. We welcome and value the work of volunteers, if you would like to get involved we would love to hear from you.
